Dr. Kimberly Kimbrough-Edwards, Ed.D., LCDC

Kimberly Kimbrough-Edwards is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with a passion for helping adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. She holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, a Master of Education in Counseling and Development, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing.


Kimberly brings more than 17 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her professional experience includes supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, substance use, family conflict, life transitions, and other emotional and mental health challenges.


Her approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. Kimberly incorporates evidence-based and therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and Gestalt techniques while tailoring treatment to the individual needs and goals of each client. She believes that a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship provides the foundation for meaningful growth and lasting change.
